106 Caloocan barangays free of virus

Caloocan City now has 106 barangays free of COVID-19, based on the latest data released by the City Health Department.

Of the 188 total barangays in the city, only 82 barangays currently have active cases, CHD said. Meanwhile, the total number of recoveries from the coronavirus disease is estimated at 10,990.

Mayor Oscar “Oca” Malapitan thanked every citizen of the city for their continued understanding and solidarity with the City Government’s measures to combat COVID-19.

Malapitan continues to encourage the people not to be complacent and continue to follow health and safety protocols.

“Our fight against COVID-19 is not over yet. We continue to remind everyone to be careful to completely eradicate this virus,” Mayor Oca said.
