The University of Caloocan City (UCC) will open its new College of Engineering campus in Bagong Silang, Caloocan City – North with the start of this year’s school year, in keeping with one of the campaign platforms of Mayor Dale Gonzalo Malapitan.
The new college will offer courses for Electrical, Electronics, Industrial, and Computer Engineering with free tuition like other UCC programs.
Malapitan encouraged his constituents to take advantage of the free tuition, adding that the city government remains committed in “empowering the youth and strengthening the education system by providing more options for the city’s students.”
The mayor pointed out that more projects are in the pipeline to provide better education to the UCC and for other public schools in the city.
A special application for admission for prospective Engineering students is scheduled by UCC to commence on July 8 to July 12.
