Outstanding Volunteers Awardee

The Students’ Actions Vital to the Environment and Mother Earth (SAVE ME) Movement, Inc. recently awarded Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte with the 2024 Outstanding Volunteers Award (OVA) for her initiatives in implementing programs geared toward preserving human rights, environmental conservation, and gender equality in Quezon City. Belmonte is among 11 individuals recognized this year.

The SAVE ME Movement, Inc. is an environmental movement in partnership with the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) for Operation Listo aimed towards strengthening local government units’ disaster preparedness.
