Calamba, Laguna—Leaders and prime movers of PRO4A convened today, November 17 in the 1st Command Conference with the new Regional Director of PRO CALABARZON, PBGen Felipe R Natividad at Multi-Purpose Hall, Camp BGen Vicente P Lim here.
RD Natividad pledged to align the regional office to the core programs of the Chief PNP, PGen Debold M Sinas.
He directed all the Provincial Directors from the five provinces of CALABARZON and the Chiefs of Police to strengthen the campaign on the five focus thrusts of President Rodrigo Roa Duterte; anti-gambling, anti-illegal drugs, anti-corruption, anti-criminality, and anti-terrorism.
He further encouraged the COPs to bolster the drive on End Local Communist Armed Conflict (ELCAC) and show strong support to the government’s fight against terrorism.
Speaking before the members of Command Group, Regional Staff, Force Commander RMFB 4A, Provincial Directors, and via Zoom are OIC, RIAS4A, Special Staff, Chief Regional Support Units, Chiefs of Police, and Chief NUPAS, PBGEN Natividad reiterated the guidance of the Chief, PNP PGEN SINAS on ‘No Take Policy’ on all forms.
RD Natividad also put importance on the welfare of the personnel. Therefore, he emphasized to strictly observe health protocols to curb the spread of CoViD-19.
He directed all personnel to wear face masks and face shields at all times especially those in the community. “Caution the people in the community. Tell them that we are doing our job to protect them,” he added.
“Iparamdam natin sa mga tao na nandirito ang mga pulis. I want the police here in PRO4A to be seen, heard, and felt. Nakikita, nararamdaman at naririnig. Let us maximize police visibility and cooperate with the Local Government Units and to the people in the community.,” RD Natividad in his message.
During the conference, threat and drug situation updates, crime situation, operational accomplishments, ELCAC accomplishments, updates on COVID-19, and updates on typhoon Ulysses were presented.
With the recent calamities that hardly hit our country particularly Southern Luzon, PBGen Natividad ordered to train more personnel on Search and Rescue Operations for them to quickly and efficiently respond during calamities. He further stated that de-clogging of drainages prior to typhoon will help lessen flooding and this should be done with LGUs and stakeholders.
PBGEN Natividad acknowledged that CALABARZON is already doing good, achieved great heights and contributed vastly to the progress of the region therefore, he reassures that he will give his best efforts, if not surpass the previous accomplishments at least sustain the PRO4A achievements.
“Magtrabaho lang tayo ng maayos. Nilagay ako dito para magtrabaho. Ibaba niyo yan sa lahat ng mga pulis natin, magtrabaho lang sila ng maayos. Gawin natin ito para ang ating mga kababayan dito sa CALABARZON ay makalabas ng hindi nangangamba sa kanilang kaligtasan. Iyan ang ating trabaho ang siguraduhin ang kaligtasan ng ating mga kababayan. PRO4A is already doing good, let us just keep it up and hit the ground running,” on his final message.
