Gov. Dennis “Delta” Pineda signed with the mayors of Pampanga the Inter-Local Government Unit (LGU) Memorandum of Agreement to implement the province-wide health system in Pampanga.
The system will respond to the Universal Health Care (UHC) bill and the cooperation of local chief executives towards a direction in delivering health services to Kapampangans.
Honorable Mayor Malu Lacson, Floridablanca Mayor Darwin Manalansan, Guagua Mayor Ton Ton Torres, Lubao Mayor Esmie Pineda, Porac Mayor Jing Capil, Santa Rita Mayor Arthur Salalila, and Sasmuan Mayor Lina Cabrera were present during the signing.
From the Third District, Mayors Madir Alejandrino from Arayat, Ruding Gonzales from Mexico, Ross Gamboa from Sta. Anna, Dr. Jay Sagum from San Luis, and Diman Datu from Bacolor were also at the signing of the MOA.
Also signing the MOA were Apalit Mayor Jun Tetangco, Minalin Mayor Philip Naguit, San Simon Acting Mayor Ryan Viray, Macabebe Mayor Bobong Flores, Santo Tomas Mayor John Sambo, and Councilor Thelma Macapagal, who represented Mayor Rene Maglanque.
After the MOA signing, there was an update and open discussion about the status of the priority health programs implemented in the province and the country.
