A contingent from the Republica Filipina Reenactment Group, an association of history aficionados which seeks to recreate military history during the Philippine Revolutionary period, joined the 124th Philippine Independence Day military and civic parade in Kawit, Cavite.

The group also paid homage to the tomb of Generalissimo Emilio Aguinaldo and took part in the Cavite Historical Society forum to explore avenues of collaboration in preserving local history and rekindling the sense of patriotism among Cavitenos.

In photo at the Aguinaldo Shrine are Republica Filipina reenactors led by Capitan General Joshua Matipo, Cavite provincial tourism officer Rozelle Sangalang and Department of Tourism Calabarzon acting regional director Marites Castro.
