BIÑAN HOLIDAY

The long wait will soon be a reality, as Biñan Rep. Len Alonte Naguiat delivered her sponsorship speech on House Bill 2747 with substitute Senate Bill No. 5260 (below), declaring Feb. 3 of every year as a special non-working holiday for the City of Biñan in Laguna. In her speech, Naguiat underscores that the direction of a nation’s future ‘is deeply rooted in its past, and to look back is equally important as looking forward.’ The bill has been approved on the committee level, with Naguiat later meeting with Senators Sonny Angara and Joel Villanueva.
