THE National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) reported it has attained a 23.63-percent reduction in index crimes during the first 93 days of 2025 (January 1 to April 4).
The unit attributed its robust performance to enhancing “personnel’s capabilities, intensifying proactive policing efforts, and cultivating stronger partnerships within the community.”

Crime Incident Recording and Analysis (CIRA) figures revealed a significant decline in index crimes in Metro Manila, falling from 1,710 incidents during the same period last year to 1,305 this year.
The NCRPO’s overall Crime Clearance Efficiency (CCE) also surged to an impressive 99.78 percent, while the Crime Solution Efficiency (CSE) improved to 95.88 percent.
