P30K incentive awaits Iloilo City Hall employees

Over 2,000 regular employees of Iloilo City Hall will soon receive a significant financial boost as they are about to receive a P30,000 Collective Negotiation Agreement (CNA) incentive from the local government.

Mayor Jerry Treñas confirmed the news during a virtual press conference on Wednesday, emphasizing that this is the first time the city government maximized the CNA incentive to reach the full amount of P30,000.

The local chief executive derived the funds from the city’s savings, underscoring the administration’s commitment to rewarding its employees’ dedication and service. The incentive aims to ease the financial burdens of city hall employees, especially during the holiday season.

Iloilo City is also preparing additional benefits for its workforce, including the Service Recognition Incentive (SRI) for regular employees and gratuity pay for job hires.

Documents for the CNA incentive are currently being processed with disbursements expected between December 15 and December 31.

The Iloilo Provincial Government is also working to provide incentives to its employees.

Governor Arthur Defensor Jr. proposed a P416.7 million allocation for more than 2,000 regular employees, alongside P4.7 million for workers in local economic enterprises.

In addition to the CNA, provincial employees are set to receive other bonuses such as a P5,000 Productivity Enhancement Incentive (PEI), a one-time P20,000 Service Recognition Incentive (SRI), and a Performance-Based Bonus (PBB) amounting to 50 percent of their monthly salary.
