Iloilo town gets P28m for health projects

ILOILO—Badiangan Mayor Atty. Suzette Mamon recently received P28 million worth of projects from the Iloilo Provincial Government, aimed at enhancing local infrastructure and education.

Among the key contributions are a P2 million Patient Transfer Vehicle and a P3.5 million rescue truck funded by the Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office. These resources will boost the town’s emergency response capabilities.

Additionally, 12 schools in Badiangan benefited from financial assistance under the Bulig Eskwela Sa Probinsya (BESProbins) program, which seeks to strengthen education through an effective, relevant, and transformative educational system.

Governor Arthur Defensor emphasized that the funds are intended to support schools in upgrading their facilities, particularly classrooms.
