Iloilo Airport acquires 3 new chillers for added comfort of plane passengers

PASSENGERS at the Iloilo Airport can now enjoy a more comfortable experience with the installation of three new chillers which were completed ahead of the September replacement deadline.

To ensure smooth operation, Hitachi Philippines and True-Temp Corp provided comprehensive training for the CAAP personnel, covering operational procedures and basic troubleshooting.

“This proactive approach guarantees that CAAP personnel are well-equipped to maintain the new equipment effectively,” said Villanda.

Airport now has four new chillers, including one that arrived in June 2023. These new units replaced four of the five old chillers, with one of the old chillers being retained as a backup for rotational use.

The upgrade enhances the airport's cooling capacity and ensures continued operational efficiency.
