The Sangguniang Panlalawigan of Bataan presided by Vice Gov. Cris Garcia passed an ordinance establishing the Provincial Online Price Monitoring System in the province of Bataan.
It was passed during final reading on June 10, 2024.

The ordinance aims to ensure consumers have access to accurate and timely information about the prices of basic necessities and prime commodities. It also a protects consumers from price manipulation and unfair trade practices.
The ordinance was sponsored by Board Member Jorge S. Estanislao.
