The survey was limited only to the province’s registered voters with ages ranging from 18 years old to 65 years old and above covering all the socio-economic classes.

The Pulso ng Pilipino survey used the multi-stage, area probability sampling (MSAP) which is the standard norm used by all the established research organizations in most countries.

Other forms of pre-poll surveys, particularly online surveys cannot compare to the accuracy and science of the MSAP. Selective interviews were conducted considering the demographic requirements such as gender, age and socio-eco classification as the main considerations

To add to the authenticity of the Pulso ng Pilipino pre-poll survey, the results were checked back at random by the Team Leader and cross-checked with the so-called Listening Posts (LPs) which is a safety net designed by The Center to ensure the authenticity of the results.
