The program, voluntary in nature, is open to 13,903 non-plantilla employees.

The Human Resources Department, however, clarified that regular or permanent personnel may also apply for the KaSSSangga program as voluntary members.

Belmonte thanked Macasaet, along with executive vice president (Branch Operations Sector) Voltaire Agas and senior vice president (National Capital Region Operations Group) Maria Rita Aguja for their partnership to encourage non-plantilla employees to enrol as SSS members to entitle them to various social security benefits.

“We bring the services to the people,” the city mayor said.

Plantilla or permanent employees are covered by the Government Service Insurance System. The contribution will be shouldered by the employees.

Each department or office shall designate a point person in-charge of the payment. Rio  N. Araja
