The Ormoc Sangguniang Panlungsod was recently awarded as regional winner of the 2023 Local Legislative Award. The award is a validation of the efforts of the 15th Sangguniang Panlungsod, then headed by former Vice Mayor Leo Carmelo Locsin Jr.
Locsin thanked the regional validators for their vote of confidence and hoped their entry would grab the top plum in the national validation.
Ormoc competes with seven other independent component cities for this year’s LLA.
