Outpatient clinic MD+ offers home medical services and free online consultation for non-COVID patients seeking healthcare.
“We understand that there are a lot of people with chronic illnesses or urgent symptoms that also need to be addressed,” says MD+ medical director Dr. Therese Pangilinan-Ikeda.
The clinic has adapted alternative ways to keep “Bringing Care Closer” to non-COVID patients by offering free online consultations through video calls with its in-house general practitioners available everyday at its BGC branch.
MD+ also has Home Service, offered free of charge for Park West residents, and for nearby residential condos for a minimum fee.
“Our goal is to provide other options apart from going to crowded emergency rooms,” adds Dr. Pangilinan-Ikeda.
The outpatient healthcare center is open at Park West Tower in BGC from Monday to Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
In compliance with recommended safety measures, employees are required to wear personal protective equipment, practice proper hygiene and cough etiquette, and promote social distancing.
Patients are screened for symptoms and possible exposure to confirmed or suspected COVID-19 patients before entering the clinic. Those who are exhibiting signs of COVID are referred to the nearest hospital.
All treatments and procedures are available, but some services such as imaging studies and tests like Ultrasound, 2D-Echo, specialist consultation, and more are done by appointment to limit patient traffic.
