Members of K-pop icon BTS have joined forces anew with the United Nations International Children’s Emergency Fund (UNICEF) for a new initiative.
As part of their ongoing “Love Myself” campaign, the global group launched the “On My Mind” initiative on Monday, April 22nd. It aims to address the critical issue of mental health among youth around the world.
In a video posted by UNICEF, BTS delivers a message of hope, acceptance, and the importance of self-love.
“Life goes on. Let’s live on,” the group says in unison.
The video ends with the question, “What’s on your mind?”
Through this collaboration, BTS will use its platform to raise awareness about the importance of mental health and emotional well-being among young people. UNICEF, known for advocating for children’s rights, will leverage this partnership to spread awareness about mental health.
For the campaign, UNICEF launched a website that people can visit until May 6, to write electronic postcards and express their feelings, share stories, or simply write whatever is on their mind.
BTS first partnered with UNICEF in 2017 with their anti-violence campaign “Love Myself,” named after their album trilogy.
The seven-member Korean boy group, comprising RM, Jin, Suga, j-hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook, are currently serving their mandatory military service and are scheduled to return in 2025.
