Hardware store company ACE Hardware Philippines recently clinched two category wins at the recently held Retail Asia Awards for the success of its “We Can Help” campaign, and its sustainability initiatives under the said campaign.
The “We Can Help” campaign is a collection of initiatives that positively impact customers, communities, employees, and the environment.
ACE Hardware launched the campaign in December 2021 by setting up pop-up displays in selected branches to showcase over 100 sustainable products ranging from organic plant mediums to energy and water- saving devices.
The company also transitioned to biodegradable bags and encouraged customers to use the newly redesigned reusable bags. ACE Hardware’s sustainability initiatives were recognized as the winner of the ESG Initiative of the Year – Philippines in the mentioned awards program. ACE Hardware also brought home the Hardware Retailer of the Year – Philippines during the Retail Asia Awards in recognition of its commitment to staying true to its mission of being helpful.
