Christmas is a season for giving treats to children. The “bibingka” and “puto bungbong” are popular treats especially after the traditional “Simbang Gabi.” Churchgoers often eat these traditional Filipino foods after hearing mass at St. Joseph Parish Church in Las Piñas.
Some 247 college students from 25 barangays of Tabaco city received their educational assistance grant amounting to P5,000 each—an early Christmas treat–courtesy of the DSWD Regional Office V.
