Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development (DHSUD) officials and personnel join the first-quarter national simultaneous earthquake drill on Thursday. During the drill, employees practiced the ‘duck, cover and hold’ safety procedure, reinforcing the importance of knowing what to do should an earthquake occur. Spearheaded by the Office of Civil Defense, the NSED is a quarterly exercise promoting earthquake awareness and preparedness of the public.
