Reclaiming mangrove forest

Elements of the Philippine Coast Guard plant some 3,000 mangrove propagules in Barangay San Rafael IV, Noveleta, Cavite in keeping with the unit’s environmental protection initiative. The activity marks the observance of the 55th founding anniversary of the PCG District NCR-Central Luzon, with volunteers from the PCG Auxiliary 103rd Squadron, the Municipal Environment and Natural Resources, the Bureau of Fire Protection, and the Rotary Club Las Piñas Central.
