Cement maker Holcim Philippines Inc. inaugurates its new facilities in Davao City after completing the expansion program of its Davao plant in June to raise annual production by 700,000 metric tons to 2.4 million MT. Attending the inauguration ceremony are (from left) Holcim Davao Kalayaan project site manager Arvin Witara, Holcim Davao plant manager Xavier Kennedy, Davao Constructors Association Center Inc. president Antonio Uy, Barangay Ilang chairman Amado Babao, Holcim senior vice president for cement industrial performance Niels Ledinek, Davao City councilor Louie John Bonguyan, Holcim chairman Tomas Alcantara, Trade Undersecretary Ruth Castelo, Public Works Region XI district engineer Richard Ragaza, Holcim president and CEO John Stull and Holcim Kalayaan project manager Lawrence He.
