Taxonomy Conference

The Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) and the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), in cooperation with the ASEAN Taxonomy Board, co-host the ASEAN Taxonomy Conference 2026 in Panglao, Bohol on Feb. 10, 2026. The event convened regulators, industry partners from the banking and capital market sectors and other stakeholders to strengthen regional efforts in mobilizing sustainable finance and advancing adaptation priorities. Discussions highlighted the urgent need to address climate risks in Southeast Asia and showcased the ASEAN Taxonomy for Sustainable Finance Version 4 and the mitigation co-benefit and Adaptation for Resilience (mARs) Guide as key tools to bridge financing gaps toward climate-resilient and sustainability-aligned activities.
