The Department of Agriculture (DA), Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration and the Food and Agriculture Organization sign the tripartite operational partners agreement for the $39.2-million Adapting Philippine Agriculture to Climate Change (APA) project, benefiting 1.25-million farmers in the climate-vulnerable regions in the country. Signing the agreement on Sept. 17, 2024 are (from left) FAO Representative in the Philippines Dr. Lionel Dabbadie, DA Secretary Francisco Tiu Laurel Jr. and PAGASA administrator Dr. Nathaniel Servando.
