President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. and House Speaker Martin Romualdez lead the unveiling on June 10, 2024 of the Cabaruan Solar Pump Irrigation Project (SPIP), which generates power from solar panels that fuel two submersible pumps. Each pump discharges 12,800 gallons of water per minute, irrigating a sprawling 350 hectares of land and benefiting 237 farmers.
