Manila Electric Company (Meralco) takes home five recognitions at the 2024 Asia-Pacific Stevie Awards in Taguig City for its sustainability, thought leadership and social media initiatives. The power distributor won three Gold Stevie awards for Meralco Supplier Sustainability Scorecard (MS3) Program under Building Sustainable Supply Chains category, Redefining Meralco’s Facebook Page to Empower and Engage Customers under the Most Innovative Facebook Page category and Meralco Power Academy’s Giga Summit on Sustainable Energy, Energy Efficiency and Future Grid for Thought Leadership Campaign of the Year. It also earned a Silver Stevie for Meralco Race to Zero Waste Program and a Bronze Stevie for the Climate Hero of the Year category won by Meralco first vice president and chief sustainability officer Raymond Ravelo.
