PAGCOR housing

Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corp. (PAGCOR) inaugurates two housing projects in Batangas, benefiting 200 resident families displaced by the Taal Volcano eruption four years ago. The PAGCOR Village Housing projects in Balete and Taal were inaugurated on Jan. 19 and 20, respectively. The towns are among the six Batangas municipalities that each received P30-million funding for the construction of permanent shelters for residents living around the volcano. The other recipients of the PAGCOR Village Project are the towns of Agoncillo, Lemery, San Nicolas and Mataas na Kahoy.
