Flood control

The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) completes the construction of a revetment structure to prevent the overflow of Alamínos River in Barangay Pogo, Alaminos City, Pangasinan. The project provides the farming communities with a resilient barrier against the river’s surges, mitigating the risk of flood during prolonged rainstorms and intense typhoons. Constructed at a cost of P72.37 million, the project safeguards extensive agricultural lands surrounding the Alaminos River.
