Fallen bridge

The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) Station Western Bohol responds to the collapse of the Old Clarin Bridge in Loay, Bohol on Thursday. According to the initial investigation, the bridge was not able to handle the weight of vehicles which accumulated on the bridge due to heavy traffic.

The PCG said the number of civilians rescued in the incident and currently being given medical assistance has reached 23. There were also 12 vehicles (trucks, cars, tricycles, and motorcycles) that fell into the river due to the collapse.
