Metrobank-Globe memento

Metropolitan Bank & Trust Co. signs a P10-billion term loan facility with Globe Telecom Inc. to finance the telco’s capital expenditures. To commemorate the partnership, a custom-made memento artwork sculptured by contemporary visual artist Mars Bugaoan is bestowed to both parties. The artwork represents the shared commitment of Metrobank and Globe to sustainability, innovation and meaningful connections—values that reflect the artist’s inherent motif of growth. It is made of recycled steel mesh wire and plastic using a technique called ‘implasto,’ a style and medium that Bugaoan pioneered.
