Team members from Therma South Inc., operator of Aboitiz Power Corp.’s 300-megawatt baseload power facility that straddles the village of Toril in Davao City and the municipality of Santa Cruz in Davao del Sur, make sure they adhere to the highest safety standards. The AboitizPower coal business unit clocked in close to 9.6 million safe man-hours without lost time injury as of end-June this year. From 2016 until June 30, 2021, facilities operating under the unit collectively reached 9,587,739 safe man-hours, marking a significant milestone not only for the unit itself but also for the whole AboitizPower group.
