Overseas Workers Welfare Administration deputy administrators Mocha Uson (second from left) and Faustino Sabarez III (left) start the nationwide effort to award assistance packages to OFW families under the ‘Balik Pinas Balik Hanap Buhay Program, Project Alalay Para sa mga Anak OFWs sa Panahon ng Pandemya’. Uson and Sabarez pay a courtesy call on Iloilo City Mayor Jerry Treñas prior to the awarding of financial assistance packages of P20,000 to 50 OFW family beneficiaries in the city. They also spearheaded the awarding of OWWA education and livelihood assistance programs to OFW families in Aklan, Capiz and Iloilo province.
