Wow Brands brings together classic favorites
A one-stop dining destination has arrived in Quezon City with the grand opening of Wow Brands’ newest location along Mindanao Avenue on March 14.
The newest location brings together well-known favorites under one roof such as Shakey’s, Peri-Peri, R&B Milk Tea, and Potato Corner. This marks a significant milestone for all participating brands: the 268th store for Shakey’s, the 78th for Peri-Peri Mindanao, and the 4th joint venture between R&B and Potato Corner.
The opening reflects SPAVI’s dedication to growth and innovation, aiming to bring Shakey’s experience to even more communities. The Mindanao Avenue location, with its commitment to quality and service, promises to become a favorite hangout for both residents and visitors.
Shakey’s, an iconic pizza parlor cherished for its delectable pizzas and signature Chicken N Mojos offerings, joins hands with Peri-Peri, celebrated for its flame-grilled chicken and its aim to bring in flavors around the world. This dynamic duo is set to redefine casual dining experiences with their mouthwatering array of dishes.
For those seeking refreshing drinks, R&B Milk Tea is on hand. They’re known for their delicious cheese cream, signature brown sugar pearls, and high-quality ingredients. With a wide variety of flavors and customization options, there’s a perfect cup for everyone.
And no food adventure is complete without fries. Potato Corner, the ultimate destination for flavored fries, adds the perfect finishing touch with their addictive potato creations.
“All of these complement each other, and they can become leaders in their category, and they’re supposed to deliver all the wowing experience,” said Shakey’s Pizza Asia Venture’s Inc. President and CEO Vic Gregorio.

Joining Gregorio at the grand opening were General Managers Joey Alber (Peri-Peri), Rommel Turbanos (CBU Operations), Carlos Robles (Business Development), Gilbert Tolentino (Group Marketing), and Oliver Sicam.
Operations Managers June Joco (Peri-Peri), Emily Alvarez (Shakey’s), and Anna Bendero (R&B & Potato Corner) were also present. The event also acknowledged the unwavering support of Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte.
On the other hand, Alvero emphasized the brand’s main goal to deliver a wide range of offerings for their diners.
“It would allow our guests to have more choices when eating,” Alvero stated.
“We also select brands purposely and consciously. If you like pizza, of course, [Shakey’s] is the way to go. But if you like fried chicken, we have chicken and chips. But if you want healthier, like grilled chicken, then we have now Peri-Peri. Kung yung mga kasama, mga bata ay gusto naman with French fries, we now have Potato Corner,” echoed Gregorio.
“Even in this place, in this facility, the fact that you can eat the chips, but if they like Peri-Peri chicken, our staff here will be more than happy to help them and get the chicken across the store. And the same thing with French fries. So, housing all of the brands together, whenever there is a chance, we will grab it because it provides more value for the consumer, for the guests,” he added.
