For a limited time only, guests can experience the mouthwatering redefinition of fine dining with the dishes of Chef Choi Hyun-seok from the hit cooking series, Culinary Class Wars, at Solaire Resort.

Chef Choi personally prepared his signature dishes at Solaire Resort Entertainment City’s Finestra restaurant with an indulgent five-course dinner.

His critically acclaimed Sujebi Vongole was among the highlights of the dinner – and he made sure to put garlic this time!

“Definitely with garlic,” he said, referencing his mistake in Culinary Class Wars where he failed to add garlic to his pasta dish that was a fusion of hand-torn Korean noodles with Italian influences.

Seaweed soup

There was also his famous Jang Trio Steak that featured three kinds of sauces –doenjang made with soybean paste, gochujang or red chili paste and ganchang made with soy sauce.

The dinner started with two amuse-bouches he called “Beans” – made with chickpeas – and “Donut” made with corn topped with caviar.

Three-sauce steak

There was also a hearty seaweed soup served with hairtail fish and radish, which Chef Choi described as having a very traditional Korean flavor, especially with sesame oil.

And for dessert – a Korean shaved ice with mascarpone, white chocolate, red bean paste, and green tea.

Chef Choi’s signature dishes will be available for a limited time from tomorrow (Monday, April 14) until July 6, exclusively at Solaire Resort.

Try the full menu at Waterside in Solaire Resort Entertainment City and the donut, vongole, and three-sauce steak at Finestra in Solaire Resort North to relive the extravagance and luxury of Chef Choi’s prowess once more.
