This February, The Westin Manila is offering another culinary special with its partnership with Sheraton Manila’s Oori restaurant.

The premium, wellness-focused hotel in Ortigas teamed up with Oori’s Korean Executive Chef, Kibum Park, for “A Taste of Korea” — bringing authentic Korean cuisine closer to foodies in the central and northern side of Metro Manila.

Available for lunch at Seasonal Tastes on all Thursdays of February 2025, the featured Korean dishes will be included in the buffet lineup, while other highlights will be prepared and served a la minute by the guest chef at the One Dish Wonders live station.

Chef Park also collaborated with The Westin Manila culinary team in creating a Korean-inspired afternoon tea at the Lobby Lounge, available daily until February 28, 2025.

“We still see a growing interest for Korean cuisine in the market,” said Rej Casanova, Executive Chef of The Westin Manila. “We found Korean food to be a great fit with our commitment to providing a balance of wellness and culinary delight.”

“Korean cuisine is based on the principles of balance, variety, and fermentation. The nutritional harmony of vegetables, meats, fish, and grains guarantees complete nutritional intake,” he added.

Oori is the upscale two-concept Korean restaurant of Sheraton Manila, which is another premium hotel managed by Marriott International.

With Chef Kibum Park at the helm, Oori serves a full menu of Korean barbecue (KBBQ), quality wagyu steaks, sustainable seafood, and imported Duroc pig barbecued over charcoal on each table.

For the partnership with Seasonal Tastes, Chef Park prepared a Bibimbap station, Galbi Jjim, Jeyuk Bokkeum, Bibim Guksu, Bingsu, and rice cakes, among others.

The Korean-inspired afternoon tea at the Lobby Lounge includes Mini Bulgogi Burger, Yukhoe Tarts, Rose Tteokbokki, Ivory Strawberry Mousse, Citrus Orange Mousse, Mochi, and Green Tea Scones.
