Japan’s #CrunchiestFriedChicken now in Makati

The story of Karayama’s famous Japanese-style fried chicken, known as karaage, begins in a tiny storefront in Tokyo.

Taking pride in the creation of Japanese style fried chicken in its purest form, the chicken is slowly marinated in a secret recipe, developed to enhance its flavor. Each boneless piece is then carefully breaded and fried until superbly crisp.

This is no doubt the reason why Karayama is the No. 1 top selling and most popular Karaage restaurant in Japan.

Karayama offers a diverse karaage menu, including rice sets, curry rice sets, and chicken ramen.

In the Philippines, Karayama’s vision is to be known as the brand that offers Japan’s #CrunchiestFriedChicken.

With its ingredients sourced all the way from Japan, Karayama offers authentic Japanese-style Fried Chicken from rice sets to its famous 15-pc Chicken Mountain — the embodiment of “kara” from the word “kara-age” and “yama” meaning mountain.

Aside from the rice sets with a one-time refill of rice and miso soup, Karayama also offers Japanese rice bowls (best seller: Cheesy Karatama Don); Chicken Paitan Ramen, and Curry Rice sets. Japanese Mochi and Ice Cream for desserts, and drinks like Cherry Blossom Fresh Fizz are also available.

During the One Ayala branch’s official grand opening, a unique, bigger and taller version of Chicken Mountain with 100 pieces of kara-age stacked together was unveiled. The program was attended by Karayama Philippines’ president Kimberly Cruz, Karayama Japan representative Ken Korosu and Fullfeeling Inc.’s CEO Dr. Jaime Cruz
