Cebu Pacific said Wednesday it will mount daily flights to South Korea from Clark International Airport starting May 5, further expanding its Clark hub.

The launch of Clark-Incheon route brings the total number of international destinations that can be reached from Clark to six. Previously, Cebu Pacific announced that it would operate eight domestic and five international destinations in Clark.

Cebu Pacific said it would lease and base three aircraft at Clark International Airport. These are on top of the 10 new Airbus NEO aircraft that will be delivered in 2023 to expand the airline’s entire fleet.

Cebu Pacific is set to restore 100 percent of its pre-COVID network and capacity this month.

The airline flew close to 13.5 million domestic passengers in 2022, up 312 percent from the previous year, indicating strong recovery in both capacity and passenger traffic.

Cebu Pacific now flies to 34 domestic and 25 international destinations, spanning across Asia, Australia and the Middle East.
