UnionBank of the Philippines tapped NOW Corp. to roll out high-speed broadband connectivity within the UB Innovation Campus in San Pedro Laguna.
The hub, the first in the Philippines, is set to be a strategic site for training and development about digital banking, blockchain, artificial intelligence, metaverse and other future technologies—not just for the lender’s employees and parent Aboitiz Group, but also for small businesses and public sector agencies that need to learn and understand digitalization.

The partnership marks an extension of the existing service relationship between UnionBank and NOW as the company also provides guaranteed internet connectivity to the bank’s head office in Ortigas Center, Pasig City.
UnionBank is one of NOW Fiber Air’s biggest client, as its headquarters rely on the 1.2-Gbps dedicated internet connectivity provided as backup. Darwin G. Amojelar
