Radius Telecoms Inc., a subsidiary of power retailer Manila Electric Co. through eMeralco Ventures, is expanding in Pampanga and Cebu, officials said.
“We continue to invest in the infrastructure of Radius. Our expansion includes the upgrade of the Core Ethernet Network. Once completed...it will be well-positioned with an all Cisco core network,” Meralco president Ray Espinosa said.
Radius delivers services on an end-to-end fiber optic platform, running on a robust, reliable and secure network.
Meralco invested in major network requirements of Radius such as the 500-kilometer fiber optic cable roll-out within the core network and last mile extension, client installation projects, among others.
“Radius is also expanding beyond the Meralco franchise area with network expansion in Clark Freeport Zone in Pampanga...and in Cebu,” Espinosa said.
Radius posted revenues of P1 billion in the first nine months of 2019, up 7 percent from the same period in 2018 primarily from the Enterprise market which now accounts for more than 55 percent of total revenues.
