DMCI Homes, the residential arm of the Consunji Group, plans to launch another residential development within Acacia Estates in Taguig City.

DMCI Homes president Alfredo Austria said the company was mulling over a new residential project called Alder Residences in the 150-hectare township to help the company weather the challenges of the coronavirus pandemic.

“Acacia Estates is always in our list because of the strong residential demand in the area. We’re also currently working on permits to utilize our land bank in Makati and Manila,” Austria said.

He said sales of residential projects remained strong despite the pandemic, giving the company confidence to launch two or three new properties before yearend

DMCI Homes recently delivered the first building of the last project it launched at Acacia Estates”•Mulberry Place. The four-building mid-rise development was sold-out just weeks after it was launched in 2017.

DMCI said since it was developed in 2007, Acacia Estates became a vibrant community of over 8,000 families living in various themed subdivisions and condominium developments.

Its strategic location in a thriving district in Taguig City makes it an ideal living destination for young families and young professionals doing business in McKinley Hill, Bonifacio Global City, Makati City and the Ninoy Aquino International Airport.

DMCI Homes introduced lifestyle establishments through Acacia Estates’ commercial quarter called Acacia Town Center in 2012.

Spanning about 22,000 square meters, Acacia Town Center houses restaurants, bills payment facility, currency exchange, salons, automated teller machines, coffee shops, commercial gym, supermarket and event venues like The Tent and the Casa Real heritage house.

DMCI worked with the local government of Taguig to open alternative routes going to and from the township development.

DMCI Homes opened a new road early this month, giving Acacia Estates residents direct access to Circumferential Road 6 and Bicutan via M.L. Quezon Road.

Another access road going to C-5 via Maria Tinga Road is under development.
