Leading food and beverage kiosk operator Fruitas Holdings Inc. is ready to reopen more stores in Metro Manila and in provincial areas where quarantine restrictions will be eased starting later this week.

Fruitas said in a disclosure to the stock exchange Monday it already reopened more than 10 stores in the past week and is set to reopen at least 10 more this week, bringing the total active stores to above 60.

The company said it would gradually expand operations taking into account local circumstances.

“As we resume operations in more stores, we will continue to adapt our business model and optimize the use of our resources. We are looking at ways to make it easier and faster for our customers to order our products and at contactless pick-up options,” said Fruitas president and chief executive Lester Yu.

“We are harnessing our model of maximizing sales and profits with limited space, including the utilization of kitchen capacity in our foodparks to fulfill delivery orders,” he said.
