Sika Philippines Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Switzerland-based Sika Group, is pushing for the continued training in the construction industry to boost and revitalize the sector post-pandemic.
“Sika believes in the continuing training and education to make the Philippine construction industry globally competitive,” Sika Philippines general manager Christophe Lejeune said.
Sika Philippines offers technical trainings under a special program called Sika Applicators Partners Club which gives the participants more benefits and incentives for being a member and partner of Sika.
Sika partners are given comprehensive product and technical trainings and access to the latest technologies and solutions. Members are given access to complete global product range/solutions, regional technical support, project leads assistance, and they will also earn rewards for every use of Sika products.
“We want our partners to not only be knowledgeable about Sika products but also on how to effectively and efficiency apply these products to their projects and maximize their benefits,” said Lejeune.
“Technology is always evolving and more and more new products are out in the market to meet the demands of the construction industry. We need to continually tool our partners to prepare them for the latest developments in the industry. We want to prepare our partners to be ready for the recovery of the industry post-pandemic,” said Alainne Leonardo, target market and marketing head of Sika Philippines.
The Sika Partners Club trainings are delivered by experts in their respective fields, which include different construction segments such as waterproofing and roofing, flooring, sealing and bonding and refurbishment.
"After completing the trainings, our partners can easily be able to get contracts given the strong confidence of contractors to the Sika brand," she said.
