Cebu Cordova Link Expressway Corp. said Tuesday the construction of the P30-billion Cebu-Cordova Link Expressway is now 48-percent completed.
CCLEC said the overall engineering, procurement and construction progress of the project reached 61 percent while construction progress was at 48 percent.
“CCLEX is set to be nearing substantial completion in 2021. Despite the challenges posed by COVID-19, we commit to continue working hard towards completing the project next year for the benefit of the Cebuanos,” Allan Alfon, president and general manager of CCLEC, said.
“It is something we look forward to, given the current conditions,” he said.
The P22.6-billion design-and-build contract was awarded to Cebu Link Joint Venture, which is composed of Spain-based Acciona Construccion SA, First Balfour Inc. of the Lopez group and D.M. Consunji Inc. for the CCLEX project.
