AF Payments Inc. tapped PayMaya Philippines Inc. to power its newly-launched beep app with online payments.
The tie-up between AF Payments and PayMaya allows beep card users to reload their card via the new beep app using their PayMaya account, any debit, credit, prepaid card or via other e-wallets.
“This project is another testament to AFPI’s commitment to work with PayMaya in giving commuters a pleasant and safe commuting experience through a reliable and convenient cashless payment service,” said Jonathan Juan Moreno, president of AF Payments.
He said with this thrust, commuters can stay safer and avoid long lines when riding the LRT and MRT and select bus lines.
Motorists can also conveniently top up their beep cards ahead for use in NLEX and CAVITEX tollways. “We all deserve a better commuting experience, and one way to improve it is through fintech. Through, PayMaya’s enterprise solutions, we have expanded the payment options available to beep app users,” said PayMaya president Shailesh Baidwan.
