World Trade Center Metro Manila (WTCMM) won the ASEAN MICE Venue Award during the ASEAN Tourism Standards Awards 2026, reinforcing its standing as one of the region’s leading exhibition venues.
The award was presented at the ASEAN Tourism Forum 2026 held at Nustar Resort.
The recognition is given to venues that meet international standards for Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions (MICE) operations. WTCMM was cited for its capability to host large-scale exhibitions, strong safety and security systems, and sustainability features such as LED lighting and energy recovery ventilators.
“We are deeply grateful for this recognition from the ASEAN Tourism Standards Awards. This affirms our continuing efforts to maintain a venue that meets global benchmarks and demonstrates our ability to support major exhibitions while delivering a safe, high-quality experience for both local and international events,” said Pamela D. Pascual.
WTCMM has now secured the recognition for three consecutive award cycles covering 2022–2024, 2024–2026, and 2026–2028, underscoring its sustained commitment to world-class and environmentally responsible exhibition facilities.
A total of 27 tourism establishments and local government units were recognized during the 2026 awards, highlighting the Philippines’ growing role as a MICE and tourism hub within the Association of Southeast Asian Nations.
