State-run Bases Conversion and Development Authority and industrial real estate developer Berthaphil Inc. have teamed up to accelerate the growth of aviation-related industries in Pampanga and Tarlac provinces.
BCDA president and chief executive Joshua Bingcang and Berthaphil president and chief executive Peter Herman signed a memorandum of understanding on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum to expand operations within the Clark Aviation Capital and New Clark City.
“Berthaphil has long been a trusted partner of BCDA and a key contributor to the development of the Clark Freeport Zone. This collaboration builds on that relationship and supports Clark’s growth as a competitive aviation and logistics hub,” Bingcang said.
Under the agreement, the two entities will conduct a joint study to identify business opportunities for aviation and logistics sectors in the BCDA-managed economic zones.
The research will evaluate market demand, infrastructure requirements for investors, and land use alignment with the master development plan for Clark.
Established in 1995, Berthaphil is a private industrial estate developer with a history of managing parks for technology-driven and export-oriented industries. The company has expressed interest in building new business ecosystems within both the Clark Civil Aviation Complex and New Clark City.
