CIMB leads PH digital banking revolution, provides accessible financing

CIMB Bank Philippines said it spearheaded the country’s digital banking push with a mission to provide Filipinos accessible financial solutions to help them achieve their life goals.

The bank said it aims to address customer pain points with traditional banking. By 2025, the introduction of digital-only banking allows Filipinos to manage their finances and open savings accounts in less than 10 minutes via a mobile app.

Developments include amassing 9 million customers in six years and offering limited-time promotions with interest rates as high as 25 percent per annum.

CIMB said it solidified its position as the nation’s leading digital bank, ranking 41st among the world’s top 50 digital banks in a survey by The Asian Banker.

The recognition highlights CIMB’s digital banking excellence and affirms its status as the Philippines’ Best Digital Bank. As an all-digital financial institution, CIMB continues to set new banking standards, empowering Filipinos through innovative and accessible solutions.

CIMB’s latest accolades from The Asian Banker, totaling over 120 industry recognitions, reinforce its status as the most awarded digital-only commercial bank in the Philippines.
