Cebu Pacific said Wednesday it acquired new ground support equipment (GSE) to meet rising demand across its expanding network.
The latest addition to its ground fleet includes high-capacity tow tractors, mobile passenger steps, boarding ramps, deck loaders, catering trucks and electric baggage tractors.
These will be strategically deployed across Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminals 2 and 3 as well as other key Cebu Pacific domestic hubs, to enhance aircraft turnaround times and support overall operational efficiency.
“As we continue to expand our operations, it is important that we also invest in the right equipment to maintain operational reliability,” said Lei Apostol, Cebu Pacific vice president for customer service operations.
“These new assets reflect our commitment to providing safe, reliable, and seamless travel experiences for our passengers,” Apostol said.
GSEs are specialized vehicles and tools used to service aircraft while on the ground. It covers critical functions such as baggage and cargo handling, passenger boarding and maintenance support.
The investment forms part of the airline’s broader strategy to support long-term network growth while maintaining industry-leading standards in safety and customer service.
Cebu Pacific flies to 37 domestic and 26 international destinations across Asia, Australia and the Middle East.
