The Bureau of Internal Revenue-Region 7A-Quezon City held its 2025 regional tax campaign kickoff on March 4, 2025.
This year’s tax campaign theme, “Buwis na Tapat, Tagumpay Nating Lahat,” aims to encourage voluntary compliance from taxpayers through timely payment of correct taxes to generate funds for the country’s economic recovery and development.
BIR Commissioner Romeo Lumagui Jr. encouraged taxpayers to pay correct taxes. The launch was also attended by top tax-paying individuals and non-individual taxpayers from each Revenue District Office in the region.
Media personalities who advocate for the bureau’s tax collection campaign also attended.
The filing of 2024 annual income tax returns for RR 7A-Quezon City began Jan. 1, with the deadline April 15, 2025. Filing and payment can be done electronically through the BIR’s online platforms, eFPs or eBIRForms, authorized agent banks and revenue district offices’ revenue collection officers.
The BIR said that for inquiries about registration, BIR forms, zonal values of properties, the bureau’s eServices and the eComplaint facility, taxpayers can use the 24/7 digital assistant “Revie.”
Taxpayers were also encouraged to visit the BIR website or social media pages.
