The building earned 61 of 110 points under the LEED v4 BD+C: Core and Shell rating system, demonstrating its commitment to sustainable construction and operations.

As a PEZA-accredited building, it provides 16,000 square meters of leasable office space, with 1,300 square meters per floor in a warm shell hand-over condition, offering flexible, high-quality workspaces. It also includes energy-efficient glass facades and an advanced building management system to optimize energy consumption and reduce operational costs, and a 43 percent indoor water use reduction, ensuring sustainable water management.

Other highlights are optimized energy performance, achieving 10 of 18 possible LEED credits, contributing to long-term energy savings; heat island reduction strategies, including reflective roofing and environmentally friendly building materials to minimize thermal impact; fully integrated security and access control systems; 100 percent backup generator power; rainwater collection systems; double-glazed windows; and a 100 percent glass-to-concrete ratio, reinforcing sustainability and operational resilience.

The launch of Johndorf Tower signals JVC’s entry into the commercial leasing market.

Having built a legacy in residential developments, the company is now leveraging its expertise to deliver high-quality office spaces designed for modern businesses. This milestone is a strategic move that positions JVC as a key player in the Visayas-Mindanao commercial real estate landscape.

With this venture, JVC is poised to redefine business environments and support the city’s economic expansion.
